The Mammoth Chair is a modern winged armchair, with the seat and back formed via compression molding. The specific technique used for cutting this form gives this chair its signature. Using a simplified production method, with a focus on creating a clean and minimalistic chair, the Mammoth is both iconic and a comfortable piece of furniture.
The Mammoth Sofa is based on curves and shape of the iconic Mammoth Chair. Some call it a love-seat, we simply call it the Mammoth Sofa. It’s a beautiful piece of furniture with the comfort of a lounge chair but the size to fit at least two people. The two wings provide the feeling of privacy and serenity making the Mammoth Sofa perfect for public spaces, hotel lobbies, offices or just a modern home.
The Elephant Chair is designed as a modern lounge chair and draws inspiration from the upholstered chairs of the 1950s. The chair offers high comfort with the thick upholstery on the back and the seat while preserving simple Scandinavian lines. Drawing characteristics from our Mammoth Chair the Elephant is like a little brother to the Mammoth Chair making it suitable for smaller spaces.
Whilst studying hunting chairs of the mid-20th century, designers Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl have created a modern interpretation of the low-slung hunting chair type, with construction inspired by Japanese simplicity combined with the Danish stick chairs of the 1950’s.
NOMAD CHAIR
Nomad Chair is a Nordic interpretation of the traditional Moroccan wicker chair. The Name is a contraction between “Nordic” and “Moroccan”, to the characteristic “Nomad”.
